Summary
Collection of short fics following the AUgust 2022 prompt list (mostly)
Please read the warnings on Chapter 28.
Coffee Shop - A tall, dark, handsome mech walked into his shop late one night. Well, to be fair, he walked into the door and bounced off. Then he smacked his helm on the menu board hanging over the self-serve counter. But eventually he made it in.
Literal Hell - “Okay. So explain this ta me again. You won’t go into the Well ‘cause ya think you could’ve done a better job of protecting a city. An entire CITY. From an ARMY.”
Fairy Tale - “My name’s Jazz, what’s yours?” “Prowl. Get out of my house.”
Annoying Neighbor - Prowl had concocted the perfect plan of revenge. It had eleven steps and was guaranteed to succeed. Then he’d logged onto Electronics Planet-Wide to purchase micro-motors and industrial adhesive and The Morally Correct Decision was on sale instead.
Soulmate - Iacon was a modern city and a mixed one. There were no superstitions about his paint. He saw bots of every age and frame type with spark-paint. Some - like Orion - had more than one layer. He’d met a shuttle that had been nearly covered in his.

Summary
Prowl is working on loan in Polyhex and has passed the point of endurance. He is too tired to help with the case and far from home and far from Praxus's "Peace Houses" where he could relax with fuel, a bath, and a companion for the evening. He decides to brave Polyhex's "dark-cycle entertainers" in hopes that hiring one will let his spark and processor get some rest.
Jazz is an undercover agent for the Prime, looking to expose the corruption in the Polyhexian Enforcers. To maintain his cover he stands out on the street as a night-cycle entertainer. Maybe he'll reel in a target, maybe he'll just make a few extra credits and have a good time.
Alternatively, this is where I world-build how robots might see prostitution and how different cities might have different ideas about it. Happy ending, happy couple, the day is saved and Jazz has a new "partner" in the end.
*Now with a much snazzier new title! (previously Fake Prostitute)

Bookmarker's Notes
interesting SW cultural sliding scale, also reminds me of the DJD fic where they were unknowingly all undercover agents! Except more wholesome

Summary
How exactly Soundwave's chest compartments works is a mystery, even to the host. It's only logical, then, for Shockwave to be curious about its properties.
a.k.a., Megatron walks in on the Waves putting things in Soundwave's chest that most definitely do not belong there.
