Ragnar and Lagertha were soulmates and like many fans, I never made my peace with the fact that they only found their way back to each other after death. This fic asks a simple question: what if the first failed siege of Paris had gone differently? It begins with Lagertha wounded in the chaos of that first assault, and takes everything in a new direction from there. It is focused on Daenerys and Jon and the story revolves around their experience.
