Derek wakes up after drinking more than a few too many and realizes that he really didn't say anything that bad to Casey. Still, it might be enough to set them down a once-unimaginable path. It'll be an uphill battle, though, because they're both idiots (as always).

She looks at the ground, feigning resignation.
“Yes, I do see. I will remain here.”
Until you have turned your watchful gaze to Tartarus.
She catches the approving looks on both of their faces as they turn back to the war plans, and knows she’s won. It will be no difficulty to sneak away once they are preoccupied. She has gone her entire life being underestimated. It had been Henry who had taken the brunt of the punishments for their pranks. And even after running away on deadly missions twice now, they still thought they could reason with her.
The ghost of a smile plays on her lips. No, they were not paying attention to her– thinking her happy to command the armies out at her behest and reap the rewards from the safety of her throne.
But someone was paying attention.
“She’s lying.”
