Summary
Kokichi was pretty sure he had liked someone before. He'd had crushes, been interested in other people—he'd craved a certain someone's attention, and had his heart swell when he'd gotten it.
But this was the first time he'd ever experienced this kind of lightning bolt attraction. Seeing Kaito Momota had rendered him speechless, something Kokichi never was and hadn't thought himself capable of being. He made Kokichi's brain shut down—which wasn't to say his attraction to Kaito drowned out all other thoughts, but rather that his attraction shoved those thoughts underwater by the head and held them there until they stopped breathing.
It was stupid. He didn't know he could be so stupid about someone he'd barely spent ten seconds with. But that didn't change the fact that he needed to see Kaito Momota again... by any means necessary.

A good waltz was a love story told through the body. It was two people holding each other close, the follow chasing after her lead, neither ever letting go of the other's hand. Of course Mizi sold the illusion, gazing up at Ivan with all the reverence the dance merited—because she was a good performer. Of course she'd look as if she were in love with whoever she waltzed with.
But Sua wasn't used to seeing Mizi dance with others. It had her doubting herself, overthinking...asking whether the look of adoration Mizi showed her when they danced was simply performance, too.

Summary
Eito’s challenge to Takumi goes horribly right, leaving him all alone in Takumi’s body. But try as he might to make the most of it, he finds himself feeling hollow despite his victory. When the chance comes to go back and do it again, he takes it, ready to claim a less decisive victory against Takumi.
Takumi’s confused when, on the eve of day 2, he sees and hears the presence of Eito Aotsuki in his head, but he’s not stupid. Karua made him read enough romance novels to know what this is. Eito is his soulmate, and his presence in his head is there to guide them to bliss together.

Summary
“What a scary face! I want to crush it, to make you beg for forgiveness for killing me not once, but twice. You deserve every second I make you suffer.”
These words are typical of Eito. This is normal. He remains unchanging. Yet words such as crush, beg, suffer echo in Takumi’s head as he stares intensely at his former friend and comrade — his sworn enemy of humanity. It always feels like Eito is one step ahead of him – scratch that, many steps ahead of him, and he can never fully catch up. He wants to be equal to him. He wants to see Eito beaten in his own game, his icy eyes dripping heavy tears and his clear complexion bruised and bloodied as he is lying crumpled up on the floor. His lenses are fragments scattered on the floor, and the frames askew on his face. Eito’s lower lip is roughly bitten as he holds back his cries and nausea.
A strange feeling swells in his chest, his nerves alight and buzzing, and he pushes away these feelings with disgust. Mainly with himself. What the hell is he thinking?
