Summary
Peter mulls over the past half hour, staring up at Tony’s mural. After a few minutes, he hears something floating behind him, a rustle of thick fabric. Superman’s cape. Peter flicks the mask on in an instant, turning to face him, grateful the man made enough noise to alert him of his presence. It’s probably deliberate; Peter’s figured out that Superman is nothing if not polite.
“Just stopping by to check in with you before I head back to Metropolis,” Superman says. “Everything all right?”
Peter navigates life after returning from the dead into a new, combined world. (Or: the FFH portion of the plot.)

Summary
Peter’s gotten used to Gotham by now. The thousand little sounds that build up to the cacophony of a city in controlled chaos. But it isn’t home, and it never will be, and the more time passes, the more that thought makes him twitch. He’s frustrated by it, annoyed that he feels like he’s forcing his way through a world that doesn’t belong to him. Worse, the Soul Stone is starting to become more and more of an issue. As if it senses something coming.
Tony's last words had been 'the threat always comes back.' Thanos won't be thwarted forever, only delayed. Eventually, he's going to hunt down the stray Soul Stone that Peter holds.
The Bats have a few opinions on that. The Avengers that have fallen into this other world have a few of their own. And there's the problem of Dr. Strange's letter...

Summary
“You look like shit.”
A red gaze sweeps Lucifer from head to hoof and back again, followed by a well-sculpted eyebrow rising pointedly.
“Yes, yes,” Lucifer says from very much not the high ground. “Pot. Kettle. I’m aware. Why do you look like shit?”
Red places his free hand on his chest, fingers spread in gentlemanly offense. “I’m merely winded from all the effort I put into saving the Pentagram from your folly.”
Uh huh. No doubt Red’s a real hero. But first, a point of clarification. “My folly?”
“When you walked straight into the most obvious ambush of all time and were used as the unwitting power source for a doomsday device that nearly killed us all.” Black-tipped ears perk forward. “Ring any bells?”
Oh, fuck him. Also, no, not really. “Well, excuse me for underestimating what you sinners are capable of. None of you have ever managed to hurt me before in all the millennia you’ve tried. I’m not used to ambushes meaning anything.”
“Hence, folly.” Red tilts his head to the side at an inhuman angle, canned laughter swelling in the background. “You’re so good at it!”

Summary
Tobirama was a Beta.
And he had never thought of it as a weakness.
Even when the Senju clan, known for producing only the strongest Alpha warriors, looked down on his secondary gender. Even when his father’s scorn had burned into him, demanding to know why he had not emerged as an Alpha like Hashirama.
Still—Tobirama had never resented being Beta.
It had never stopped him from fighting, from strategizing, from carrying the weight of his clan on his shoulders. It had never stopped him from carving a path of blood and steel on the battlefield, proving that he could match even the strongest Alpha opponents and return alive.
Being Beta had never held him back.
Until now.
