Summary
When he wakes up, he's not himself. Not that he can remember what being 'himself' even means. All he has is a pounding headache and a name, 'The Dark Urge'.
Oh, and memories of the real world and over 500 plus hours of playtime in Baldur's Gate 3.
Now he's stuck inside the game, with no idea how he got there or what the fuck is going on. And very quickly, he'll realise that the real world of Faerun is nothing like the game. Shit hurts, there's no maps, fast travel, or save scumming. And people are far more complicated than simple video game characters.
If he can keep himself alive and make it through this, perhaps there's something waiting for him in Faerun, a life he can build for himself. But the urge is just as real as everything else, and it's out for blood.
All he wants is to find his freedom before the game kills him or the urge overtakes him.

Summary
When the Irminsul was burned, the Exalted Master of the Heretical Path did not perish, like all of Teyvat believed.
The Aeon Nous, the Erudition, had gazed upon the burning Heretic and claimed him as THEIR own: an Emanator of Erudition.
And so, the fragment of his soul stored in the Irminsul broke free from Teyvat, and just so happens to be recovered by the 81st Member of the Genius Society.

No matter what, Teyvat will never accept Zandik as one of its own. He is forever born to bear the fate of a heretic and become the villain this story needs. But what happens when all of that gets thrown out of the window, because of a mere whim of a higher being.
What if after getting chased out of his village, he did not find his way into the Akademiya. Instead he woke up inside of a Space Station of some egotistical Genius. Spending most of his life in a world that not only accepts his ideas but encourages it.
And what if after fifteen years he goes back to Teyvat, as a different man yet somehow remained the same.
