“I—” Jimnez starts, then tries, “It—it’s just a story.”
“Stories are never just stories on the Grand Line,” Haruta says, and takes a step back to stop scaring the poor man silly.
“Especially stories about magic gems,” Ace agrees, and settles himself onto the deck in a tailor seat with the other crewmen who’d been listening to scary stories. “Magic gems are everywhere. You wouldn’t believe how many there are, ugh.”
“Know a lot about magic gems?” Haruta asks, slithering out of the shadows next to Ace and flopping sideways across his lap.
“You’d be surprised,” Ace says, and they both turn intent eyes back to Crewman Jimnez, who clearly cannot handle two Commanders casually joining story time.

Among all the old farts Ace interacted regularly at the bar he worked at, Izou was the most mysterious one. He had long, luscious black hair, red lipstick and pretty brown eyes. At first, Ace thought he was a woman, albeit a super tall and buff one.
“What’s the problem with that?” Sabo said when Ace looked disconcerted by the fact that Izou was gorgeous, muscular and taller than him. “You like strong women. What’s wrong if they actually look the part?”
“I dunno, guess I’m not as strong as I thought.”
Surprisingly, Ace’s emasculated feelings didn’t leave after realising that Izou was a man. If anything, they manifested in heart flutters and the occasional fantasy of them making out. It’s especially so now when Izou picked Ace up from the airport.

Summary
There wasn’t much Marco knew but he understood these few things.
First, in this world, his name was still Marco and Fushichōu (the name Izou gave him in Wano) was his legitimate last name.
Second, he’s a bartender. That’s a weird story because he wanted nothing more than to be a doctor back home.
Thirdly, he’s supposed to ‘start work’ at five in the evening and end at dawn. Thankfully, Zeff ordered him to live in the bunk upstairs. Marco liked this gig well enough.
He poured drinks and mixed them. With a few annoyed reminders from Zeff, he assimilated well enough in this odd, boring but safe world.
