Henry doesn’t hold his breath for a second every fucking morning, wondering if this was the day Henry left him again. Henry doesn’t remember the way the door had shut behind all of the hookups he’d let down by not actually wanting to hook up. Or had to contort his own desires into somebody else’s so he can be what that person needs for the night, so he can be enough for them to stay.
God, he needs Henry to stay.
OR
Alex, his abandonment issues, and his deep-rooted fear that he's only worth what his body can give others.
