He breaks easy but he mends quick, to the point where starving for months on a rock doesn’t leave any lasting effects anywhere besides his mind. Countless little injuries on his fingers disappear as fast as they form, his hands unmarred despite his many clumsy failures.

    He doesn’t scar. So the day he does, he doesn’t know how to react.
