Summary
In one world, the great Music of the world Sang Bilbo Baggins into being, and he takes after his Baggins father more than his Took mother. In that world, the Tookish heart of him lies sleeping for many years, until it is finally roused by extraordinary circumstances and an unexpected party.
But in this world, the Music that makes up Bilbo Baggins is reversed. In this world, Bilbo is a Baggins in name and in certain preferences only—such as in his love of handkerchiefs and table manners and good waistcoats with shiny buttons. In all other respects, he takes very strongly after Belladonna Took, famed adventurer and all around oddity...and that changes everything.
In which Bilbo Baggins is an adventurer, and events spiral outward from there.
