Summary
Unwilling to tear apart, so scared to try again yet he still did—Kazuha could only love him more, the battered heart now willing to tear itself apart for a new adoration, a soft spot for a being that could not experience love.
Unable to conceal those feelings in words, in secret glances—each touch the wanderer left on the puppet's body, though could not feel the warmth he radiates, could not feel the softness of a human, they’re how he expresses affection.
So loudly, so whole-heartedly, losing so much that the definition of love is strange to both of them.
What Kazuha was so relieved of laid in the simplest of things—how Scaramouche relaxed in his arms, how he soon coddled in the quilts as if seeking some kind of solace. He does not know how much Kazuha cherished the noises he let slip, sleepy grumbles and orders a man as free as a samurai would still nod yes.
Like now, like the sleepy “don’t leave” had just slipped out from Scaramouche’s lips. Needful and spoiled all at once—as if misusing the power he had over the human, using how whipped Kazuha is when it comes to the puppet.

...this may contain hope.
—
Many moons have risen and passed since that fateful morning in Sumeru City—even more since a trip to Kazuha's homeland led him to meeting a quiet stranger lingering around the place where Kazuha's ancestors once lived and died. Back then, he was a little younger, a little more hurt, but just as taken by Kunikuzushi as he is now.

Summary
The wandering pair set foot in their homeland once more, Kazuha after only a few months, Hibiki after what truly felt like several lifetimes. The coincidence of today being the samurai’s birthday of all days doesn’t escape the puppet as he takes in Ritou.
While Hibiki rather be anywhere else in Teyvat but here, Kazuha has been happily translating the wind to his companion as they follow its whispers. It beckons them further into the heartland of their home to a place Hibiki is all too familiar with, and Kazuha not at all. Along the way, they stop in Inazuma City for tea and a birthday surprise Hibiki plans spur of the moment. While Kazuha insists Hibiki has no obligation to give him anything for his birthday, the puppet has made up his mind as he peruses the kimono stall.
As the pair finish up their tea, the rain begins, and the wind beckons once more. Following the wind’s guidance leads them to Kannazuka, past Tatarasuna, and straight into Shakkei Pavilion. While Kazuha explores the pavilion with utmost intrigue and awe, Hibiki sets about cooking their meal while trying to ignore his feelings on returning to this place. After a peaceful meal and more tea, the after-dinner entertainment shall begin.Bookmarked by Kuronushi

Summary
Deleting himself from the Irminsul was a success, and Scaramouche had been given a chance to change, to be accepted by Sumeru as an ordinary man. His title as a Fatui Harbinger had already faded from people's minds, and no one associated his image with that of a murderer; it was like being reborn.
But even though everyone had forgotten, his past was still alive in the Wanderer's mind, and it was on his darkest nights that his demons would attack.
But he wasn't alone in dealing with them. Kazuha, a wanderer just like him, would always be at his side, like a remedy for his torment.
