“As your wife,” Yor repeated, and her voice grew firm as it picked up in volume. She tore her eyes up from the spot they’d been glaring at on the floor. She hurriedly traveled her gaze up Loid’s impressive physique, settling instead on his face. A flush was setting into his fair skin, giving his cheeks and nose a pinkish glow. His blue eyes bore into Yor’s, ever-patiently waiting for her to continue. Licking her lips, Yor told him, “It’s my duty to take care of you.”
Or,
After catching a rubber bullet for Nightfall, Twilight scores some heavy bruising. Later in the evening, Yor, wrapped up in her sad overthinking, catches sight of Loid exiting the bathroom. Stunned and concerned, Yor tries her best to be a good wife, and tends to Loid's battle scars.

Summary
The same hands that are first to hurt Twilight when he's captured are the hands that will set Loid free. OR Yuri Briar learns that he actually doesn't want his brother-in-law in chains. (Almost a character study, because I think Yuri's melodramatic and kind of dumb, but not actually cruel enough to want Loid to be hurt as much as he convinces himself he does.)
Based on the Mole Hunt arc of the manga and especially inspired by one panel on the last page of Chapter 89.
Literal summary: Loid gets captured by the SSS while he's disguised as Yuri. Conveniently, that means Yuri can pretend being copied is why he was so angry and not because Loid is married to Yor. That doesn't make it much easier to keep Yor and Anya safe, but it gives them just enough wiggle room for both men to try - and to bond in the process.
Content note: I tried to keep most of the torture off-screen, but it still gets pretty bad. Yuri and Loid are the focus for the vast majority of the time, and Yuri is literally known in-world for his ability to torture people, though he's not always responsible in the fic. More hurt than comfort.

Summary
The report card was more a formality than anything, something that parents could proudly affix to the fridge or show off to their relatives. Given that Anya still ranked in the bottom third of her class, Twilight wouldn’t be showing it off to anyone.
Curiously, the first thing he noticed when he opened the envelope was the handwritten note clipped to the actual report card.

“I should be, I believe. Is everything alright, Yuri?”
No, I’m forcing myself to socialize with you. In public.
“Yes. Meet me at the Porch and Cellar on Third. 9 PM. Don’t be late or you won’t get another chance.”
“Uh, okay. Another chance for what?”
The bastard really was gonna make him say it. In fact he was probably playing dumb just to savor his discomfort.
“Drinks on me for stepping in front of that gun,” Yuri snapped. “But don’t get me wrong, I’ll be faster next time. If anyone’s taking a bullet for Yor, it’ll be me, got it, Forger?”

After Loid Forger makes good on his vow to take a bullet for Yor, Yuri begrudgingly starts to acknowledge that his brother-in-law might not be the worst person in the world after all.
