Summary
The elevator suddenly jerks hard.
Will stumbles.
Mike instantly grabs his arm.
Everything goes dark. Then the emergency lights flicker on. It's a dim glow barely illuminating the small space between them.
Will finally realizes Mike's hand is on his arm.
“Don't touch me.” Will wrenches his arm back with a sharp, disgusted motion.
Mike pulls his hand away as if burned, loathing the sudden, sharp ache of hurt in his chest.

In which Mike Wheeler, the captain of the Indiana University hockey team, is forced to help run a skating training camp over winter break to avoid suspension and to participate in the playoffs.

Summary
Mike agrees to model for Will’s figure photography as a favour, never expecting it to mean anything more for Will than standing in front of a camera. His reasons are complicated.
After discovering intimate paintings and photographs of other men Will has been studying, he can’t explain why the sight leaves him aching to be perceived like that by him too.
Living together in an old artist’s apartment, the darkroom hidden behind the closet, comes to develop more than just photographs.
