Compassionate. Soft. Aether is thoughtful in ways beyond immortal comprehension despite himself being of the same cloth and thread and it’s awful. It is infuriating how affirming he is without even trying and it nearly makes Hiiragi angry that he can’t do the same. He wishes he understood that. How to be that way. But he doesn’t, so he says nothing and follows that signature blonde braid down the winding path.
The wanderer and the traveler share an evening amidst thoughtful conversation. The puppet feels something new.
