Upon returning from a harrowing mission, Kakashi finds Naruto injured in his crib at the orphanage he was sent to. It's the last straw--just one of a dozen different ways the village has failed Naruto--and Kakashi makes the impulsive decision to take the boy and run. Injured from his own previous mission and with no real plan in mind, Kakashi knows it will take a miracle for them to survive, especially since it's only a matter of time before Konoha sends someone to track them down.
That miracle takes the form of the mysterious and elusive Iruka, a man who not only saves Kakashi when his injuries prove too much to handle, but also offers Naruto all the love and care Kakashi could only hope to give him. Summary
None of Butsuma Senju’s sons were allowed to be an omega. But when Tobirama presents as one, the problem is solved by putting the boy on suppressants. Which he stays on until peace is declared between the Senju and Uchiha clans. At which time Tobirama decides to live as an omega and stops taking his suppressants. And… Nothing happens. No scent. No instincts. No heat.
Which wouldn’t have bothered him, except that he may have had his eye on a certain Uchiha prime Alpha. Which wouldn’t happen now.

With Konoha established, Hashirama, in an attempt at getting Tobirama and Madara to get along better, orders Tobirama to instruct Madara in one of his techniques, and Madara to instruct Tobirama in one of Madara's techniques. An exchange of information if you will. The only stipulations he sets is that it has to be something the other can use, and something they don’t already know. Madara is surprised when Tobirama offers up the Kage Bunshin technique. Perhaps not for the right reason though.

That… was most certainly not what Madara did have in mind, but, oh Amaterasu, Tobirama’s smile—genuine and sweet and brittle—was the most beautiful thing Madara had ever seen, and he couldn’t rue the outcome of his failed confession if it led to this: to Tobirama opening up to him at long last, even if it wasn’t in a way Madara had envisioned.
Or: The five times Madara tried to be a good friend plus the one time Tobirama realised calling them friends really doesn't cut it.
