“Be honest with me, Fire Fist,” Sabo leaned closer to Ace, reaching out to put a finger beneath the man's chin — his skin was almost searing hot. “You wouldn't burn a lady, now would you?”
Ace stared down at Sabo, not moving his head even an inch, though his throat bobbed as he swallowed. “No. Never.” Something a little more confident filtered into his eyes and he lifted a hand, fingers brushing against Sabo's hand down to his wrist, where he snuck a few beneath the sleeve. The frown on his lips turned at one corner, showing the white of his teeth in an infuriatingly charming grin. “Not unless she asked me real sweet.”
