Basically Loki gets out of his death sentence by becoming a prisoner to the very place he tried to conquer. He can't lie anymore, the truth of things bound to come out he struggles with pride, humiliation and trust along with the scars of the past. The avengers begin to see him past the 'God of mischief' and for his truer version as the anchor of chaos, growth and beauty within the anomaly.

It was a bad idea, Thor knew that. He wasn’t supposed to do it, but it was just...too tempting.
“Thor, what are you doing? No, no, get back here-” Thor heard Rocket, of course, but he ignored him in favor of walking up to the jail cell, the one he had never dared go to during the time Loki was locked in it, and looked inside.
There was his Loki, his brother, alive and...maybe not “well”, but he was safe.

During his trip to the past in Asgard, Thor decides to visit Loki in his cell, instead of passing it by and his actions end up affecting the future, but hopefully for the better.Bookmarked by Kimberlie101

Summary
Thor's coronation is in a week, and Loki is desperate to keep his block-headed brother from the throne. Committing treason seems a step far, however, so he makes a decision. He'll use a spell to look into the future. If Thor's reign is a disaster, he'll go ahead with his plan. If by some miracle everything is fine, then he'll let Thor be crowned.
The future is not what he expected.
For one thing, Thor thinks he's a hallucination. And that's just the start.

Summary
Loki escaped with the Tesseract in 2012. He has been on the run ever since, hiding from Asgard, from Thanos, from everyone. Now, in 2014, the Tesseract shows him some visions of a warping future. Loki then finds himself smack in the middle of the battle in the Endgame. This is a chance at life, at revenge, and at closure. And Loki will take it.
This is a little fix-fic for all the Loki lovers out there. I hope you all find it satisfying.
