Summary
The naval battle against the province of Lóng ended in carnage. Hundreds of soldiers lost their lives. A smaller number were taken prisoner.
However, Fang Runin was the one they were looking for, and they found her alive, completely dazed by the opium bombs that the Republicans had used as weapons. She struggled with what little strength she had left, begging Nezha to save her from the Hesperians. Her tears were in vain. Rin was tied up and handcuffs capable of blocking fire were placed on her wrists. She was captured, and the Cike were executed with arquebuses. Kitay, on the other hand, was hanged in front of her. Rin screamed, and then there was nothing.
She would show no mercy. She would avenge the lives of her soldiers and Kitay and incinerate the Republic and Nezha.
