“Imagine my luck,” The man whispers by his ear, voice low and gravelly, the side of his face pinned against the back of Draco’s head. “When I see the nation’s darling on my usual train on the way back to my place. What a nice little treat for me.”
Draco glances the slightest bit sideways, catches the glint of a smirk and the glare of glasses before he lets his media training kick in for him. He smiles on auto-pilot and sweetens his voice. “You’re too… kind. I appreciate it, mister, but if it’s no trouble, would you please—”
“Ah, I’m really so glad Draco’s really as sweet as he is on camera.” The man presses his lips chastely against the sensitive skin of Draco’s neck. He feels the ghost of the man’s lips move slowly across his nape. “You wouldn’t want to cause any trouble now, would you, Draco?”

Draco Malfoy arrives from the future with a little bundle of misunderstandings.
“Stop packing your bags,” Severus stormed into Remus’s office. “You did not bed my underage godson. The mother is your wife, an older cousin of his.”
“Oh, thank g-” Remus sank against the wall. “I - I thought it’d be safer. For everyone. If I.” He threw a thumb aimlessly over his shoulder although it just gestured to a wall. “I. I’m. That’s good.” He bit down hard on a tongue before he said something stupid like, I married a woman? And Severus might break his nose again, for that one.

It feels so teenager coming of age and I yearn for more fics like it
draco is a fantastic character and it’s so interesting to see how the dynamics works in this fic
but more than anything I love how draco stays true to himself- his snarky and meanness is never removed but rather directed
it’s like he finds a purpose that he makes his life’s ambition
and we really need more fics talking about how draco has a unicorn hair wand core cause I genuinly think it’s one of the most interesting cannon facts about his character
overall a beautiful exploration of teenage romance triumphing once again!! -

reading about how much the charcaters valued their families, their desire to protect one another was so beautiful
I reminds me so much of the love I have for my siblings
seeing the characters go through so much and yet staying by one another's sides and fighting for their place there
and draco's own struggles are so bittersweet and understandable, but he pushes them all aside for the sake of the family

as the author said this is essentially a love letter to draco malfoy
how he is capable of loving and overcoming his fears in spite of his flaws
and how harry falls in love with him because of them
I really wish this was cannon, bc oml imagine if this was a movie
I would never be out of the cinemas if it was
this fic is beutiful and comfortable, focusing on overcoming differences and mending bridges
but it's not incredibly heavy, it feels like a spring day with the delicate weather changes
it makes me want to fall in love and appreciate everything i see and I adore that feeling-futile devices
