With Bluestar and Tigerclaw in exile, Longtail inherits a ThunderClan clan broken in spirit and in name. An old foe haunts the forest, sewing blood and destruction in his wake. The world is not fair and just, and Hollyleaf is in StarClan. So is Ashfur. Two cats who are not supposed to be here, now trapped in paradise for eternity.
But forever’s a long time. As the moons pass, Hollyleaf attempts to navigate her guilt and shame to try to rediscover meaning in her life-after-death’s existence.
