Summary

The Risk'verse Quartet is an epic, coming-of-age wartime series that follows Hermione, Draco, and the Order of the Phoenix throughout an extended war, and then onward into the aftermath. It's a realism-focused character and relationship study, with dual POV, angst and hurt/comfort, slow emotional burn w/ glacial physical burn, bickering & banter, a secret relationship, Classical Latin as a love language, violence and gore, coping with broken families, and how the brutal toll of war and trauma changes people.
But at the heart of it all, it's about a love that eclipses everything else.

He snapped his fingers. “Because if I were to stand by and let an Order of Merlin recipient attempt to permanently injure herself—tragic death by dumbbell—I might find myself facing new charges in front of the Wizengamot for criminal neglect.”
