“So my previous alcoholism— which i overcame by the way— is potentially jeopardising my chances of taking in Peter?” Tony wanted to balk at the fact. If at 21 he’d known what problems would be caused from his years of drinking, he never would’ve had one sip of the desired substance.
“The state has reason to be concerned.”
After May dies, Tony needs to pass the state's inspection in order to be granted full guardianship of Peter. After years of overcoming his alcoholism, it seems his mistakes still come back to haunt him.

Sure, Parker’s life wasn’t perfect - Flash wasn’t an idiot, he knew Parker’s aunt had been having financial troubles for a long time - but that didn’t change the fact that Parker still had everything and somehow he managed to take it all for granted.
And yet, Flash Thompson also knew that he would have given anything to be Peter Parker.

All he knew was Happy was waiting outside to pick him up from school, and somehow the principal has decided maybe that's the problem.
Happy was very much not the problem.
