While sheltering from a storm, Arthur, Gwen, Merlin, and the knights end up in a cave with some druids for the night. No big deal, Arthur has no problem with them. Over dinner, they trade stories, and a certain man keeps getting mentioned by the druids. Arthur inquires about this "Emrys." But, have no fear, these druids are quite musically gifted and have a song for this!

Summary
Arthur wasn’t sure what this charm would do, if anything, but he’d held it in his hands, and he’d pressed it to his lips, and he’d willed all of his strength and protection and fervent desire for Merlin to be okay into the metal.
He’d broken his father’s laws for Merlin, Uther’s one cardinal rule, and that had to count for something. Arthur just wasn’t sure what.

Arthur notices the cuts and bruises on Merlin’s skin and assumes the worst. Out of options, he turns to magic for help.

Summary
When a rescue mission goes bad it's Merlin who ends up being tortured for information. And the knight are about to discover it's hardly his first time.

"He's the king. Don't you think he deserves to know?" Elyan asked.
"No!" Merlin exclaimed, his voice tinged with desperation. "When have I ever given you the impression that I care about his title?" He waited for the expected eye rolls and sighs. "He has enough to worry about as it is. There's no need to tell him that I occasionally find myself in a scrape or two."
"You call being kidnapped, tortured, killing four men, and stitching up your own stab wound a scrape?" Leon's voice carried a mixture of disbelief and concern.
"No," Merlin replied casually, his voice laced with a touch of dark humor. "I call it Thursday."

Summary
No one survives the Dorocha’s touch.
Not even Merlin.
At least that’s what Arthur and the Knights think after Merlin saves Arthur’s life by throwing himself at the Dorocha.
Or
Arthur and the knights believe Merlin has died after being struck by the Dorocha and bury him accordingly before continuing their quest to close the veil and save Camelot. But we all know that even the Dorocha cannot stop Merlin.
