    Asano Gakushuu has seen ghosts his entire life. Between striding the line between life and death, and helping spirits pass on, he's sure nothing can surprise him. That is, until the spirit of the recently deceased Yukimura Aguri appears with a near unbelievable story and an unusual request, one that sends Gakushuu all the way down to E Class to try and fulfill.

    It's not all bad though. In fact, he might just find a place among the living where he belongs.

    Edward Elric is born with a healthy set of lungs and two bright soulmarks on his tiny wrist. The marks are bold against his skin, and when his father holds him up to get a closer look, Ed smacks him on the nose with an uncoordinated fist.
    Trisha Elric laughs.
    A year later, when Alphonse Elric is born with an identical set of marks, one above the other on his shoulder, Hohenheim’s curiosity sinks into confusion.
    Trisha coos at her sons’ matching marks and smiles.

    Or: a soulmate AU where soulbonds are familial rather than romantic, and Ed and Al will always have parents, no matter if Hohenheim walked out on them and Trisha isn't there anymore.

    In unearthing the Nomu Factory, the Heroes and police of Japan discovered a body. This was not unexpected, but the nationality and uniform of the corpse in question… that was. Because this failed Nomu wore the uniform of Amestris, a war torn nation from the isolated continent of Atossa, where Quirks and modern electronics had never developed and never worked.

    Edward Elric hoped he could retire from military service in peace, traveling Amestris while his brother Alphonse went to Xing. This is put on hold when now-Führer Mustang asks him to travel to the Outside, to the world beyond that was barricaded for centuries after the development of something called ‘Quirks’. A soldier has been killed and Amestris needs to know more about the Outside.

    Or, Edward Elric and Amestris meet the greater world of Heroes and Villains. It remains to be seen who’s more traumatized by the encounter.

    Havoc had been looking forward to meeting the Elric brothers, but he’d been looking forward to it while thinking he’d have the whole office as a buffer. He hadn’t thought he’d have them all to himself in a car for half an hour in traffic. He wasn’t sure how he felt about that. Overjoyed was not the word.
