Summary
Tim is nine years old when he figures out Batman and Robin's identities.
Tim is twelve years old when he catches on to one of the jokers' schemes and, with a little bit of less than ethical hacking into arkhams security system, manages to convince Batman and Robin to stay in gotham.
Tim is thirteen when his parents die in a plane crash and he has to trick the authorities to be able to keep living alone in Drake manor.
Tim is fourteen when he gets mugged, losing him his camera in the process, and decides to learn how to fight.
Tim is sixteen when he gets one of his favourite shots so far of Batman Robin and Nightwing fighting poison ivy. Only at the cost of losing focus and getting shot by some street thugs.

Or: a young Tim unknowingly saves Jasons life and in return, does not get to be part of the family, and he also does not intend to be. Jason has other plans.

The only thing worse than crawling out of your own grave to find your father had replaced you with the first black haired, blue eyed preteen he could find, is said replacement begging you to sign emergency foster papers... except maybe you signing said papers and having to learn how to be a parent on the fly... Is it the absolute dumbest idea to celebrate the anniversary of Jason stealing the Batmobile’s tires by trying to steal them himself? Absolutely. Is Tim going to do it anyway? Hell yeah.
or: An eleven-year-old Tim is obsessed with cars, like most kids his age, so he does the logical thing and steals the Batmobile's tires (and eventually the whole car). This leads Bruce through the five stages of grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Adoption.
This is my Febuwhump 2025 story. Let's go! 28 chapters of whump, hurt/comfort, fluff, a tiny bit of angst, and lots of humor. Every chapter is a different prompt. This story is heavier on the humor than the whump, but it definitely gets dark at times :)

But even if Peter doesn't want to be Peter anymore, the city needs Spider-man. Queens needs Spider-man.
Or, the one where Peter is trying to save the city while desperately avoiding his dysfunctional relationship with his father. Spoiler alert: turns out you can't get a lot of superheroing done when you're a super resentful, depressed teen.

For the next few years, Peter became his dad’s shadow.
They spent everyday together, tinkering in the lab, laughing through disastrous attempts at cooking that left the kitchen in chaos, or curling up for movie nights that inevitably ended with Peter falling asleep halfway through.
It only got better when his dad helped form the Avengers. They had all moved into Avengers Tower in New York, and while it was quite different from his life in Malibu, Peter didn’t mind. He loved it.
He’d have breakfast early with Nat, Bucky and Steve. He’d get spy lessons from Clint (which mostly involved crawling around in the vent and shooting people with nerf guns). And he’d even sometimes get science lessons from Dr Bruce Banner himself.
Life was great. Perfect even.
Until Harley showed up.

Summary
Timothy Drake was no stranger to loneliness.
No stranger to waiting for someone to come save him.
But alas, no one was here. And no one is coming.
Because he's the cuckoo bird. The imposter in the nest, only supposed to be there until Batman was stable again. And now that Batman had a new Robin, Jason back from the dead, and Dick not constantly at his throat, Tim supposed his purpose was used up.
That would explain why he was still sitting in this dark and dingy room, 13 days after his capture, his kidnappers becoming increasingly worried that they were using resources for no reason, and still no Batman in sight to save him.
And so Tim decides it's finally time to free the family of his presence and unshackle them from the responsibility of putting up with him. He'd free himself. Take enough resources that he needs, finally dip into that Drake inheritance he hadn't needed to even touch because he had been reluctantly living in Wayne Manor, and split off like a grown bird from the nest.

In which I decided that Tim needs a new vigilante name and what better way to do that than to just separate him from the batfam entirely with a bunch of angst involved?

True Healing magic has been forgotten to time. The magic used by Saint Mungos isn't True Arts. It's a pale imitation of what once was. Rumors of Low Magick making its return to the world is whispered in the alleys. It's a magic where the user doesn't draw their power from themselves, but the world itself. True Healing Magic falls into this category. This magic is not easily controlled and requires the caster to know their limits or risk burning out, and possibly even death. As the war ramps up, both sides want to get their hands on this so called user of the Lost Arts.
Harrison has kept to himself since he returned to England the previous year. After his parents had abandoned him, he'd been adopted by another assumed squib. She took him in, taught him, and treated him like her own son. Self taught he returns to England and sets up shop in Knockturn Alley. He acts as an Underground Healer, who only takes payment in what people can afford. There's just one rule. Don't talk about him.
