    Now he has to survive hero training, Bakugo’s ego, classmates like Todoroki, and Yaoyorozu watching him too closely, rapidly escalating expectations, and the small problem of a Quirk that likes sending him into walls. Unfortunately for everyone around him, he might actually be good at this(?).

    “Good news- I can definitely see ghosts.” Izuku weakly explained. “Bad news- I might’ve underestimated how pissed off the ghost is.”

    “You don’t say?” Katsuki couldn’t see the ghost, but he could see Izuku staring at a fixed spot as well and how the peeling wall paper started shuddering as the heavy feeling grew. “You’re the one who researched- how the fuck do we fight it?”

    “I-”

    The door slammed open again, blasting the ghost woman toward them. Izuku grabbed Katsuki’s arm in a tight grip, partly to make sure he stayed inside the salt circle and partly to keep himself from reeling back outside the circle himself.

    Izuku hadn’t needed to know that her skin was more translucent than the bones he could see through it. Just as scary was the newest person to come to the party- a man in all black, whose equally dark hair whipped even more ferociously.

    Through the ghost, Izuku saw the man’s eyes burn an even brighter, angrier red. Then he lost track of the plot what the ghost shrieked with a level of vitriol that had him doubled over in pain. When he could look up again, the ghost woman was gone.

    The ghost man- now armed with a scythe- still remained.

    Midoriya Izuku creció quirkless. Su madre murió cuando tenía doce. All Might le dio un poder prestado y la promesa de que podía ser héroe. La UA le dio compañeros que creyó que eran amigos. Y un rumor sin evidencia le quitó todo.
    Nadie dijo "yo te creo". Ni la chica que se sentaba a su lado. Ni el delegado de clase. Ni el chico al que le devolvió su propio poder. Ni All Might.
    Izuku devolvió el One For All. Firmó la baja. Vagó dos meses. Cayó en una mazmorra. Sobrevivió un mes comiendo caldo de huesos. Despertó el quirk que siempre fue suyo: PlayerLvl999 — la capacidad de materializar ficción como realidad.
    Destruyó al jefe de la mazmorra. Fue reclutado por una organización secreta. Compró un departamento de lujo. Se volvió streamer. Creó a Chomp — una esfera plateada con lentes pixelados que se come todo y que se convirtió en el héroe más popular de Musutafu.
    Y mientras la clase 2-A de la UA descubre que destruyeron la vida de alguien inocente, un chico de pelo plateado juega videojuegos a las cuatro de la mañana y le dice al mundo que no es un héroe.
    El mundo no le cree.
