It felt as though everything came flooding back all at once, without even granting her a moment to come to terms with everything. She knew that everything that was coming back to her was, in theory, nothing new to her, she had lived with that knowledge for 912.5 days so it really should not be such a shook to her and yet it happened every once in a while, that she forgot Peter was dead right after waking up, usually from a nightmare and even though she should be used to that by now it had not gotten any easier and she knew that she would most likely never get used to it.

Peter had been a fighter, a warrior, a survivor, a hero long before he had become Spider-Man, there was no doubt about that in Ned's mind.
There could be no doubt about that, not after everything that Peter had been put through in his too short life, he had been a fighter all his life.
He had been a fighter and a hero long before any of the craziness, that later became Peter's new normal, had found a way in Peter's life.

And yet, he never forgot the person who made all of this possible for him, for the world. He never forgot Tony Stark's sacrifice and to honor it, he became the hero Tony had seen in him all along.
That universe is not this one.

“Midoriya was— he was so much calmer when you were with him last night,” Iida continues in a more controlled tone. When he was using me as a teething toy, Aizawa fills in. “All of us were. I— I know it’s highly irregular! But I believe I speak for all of us when I say that you’re—” Iida hesitates. “...You’re… pack.”
And that’s the kicker here, isn’t it? It’s highly irregular for a teacher to stay with a student through a presentation, or a rut or a heat, but for a pack member— for a pack member, that’s not just normal. That’s expected. Especially an older, more experienced pack member, long since presented, comfortable and in control of their body.
Usually, that role would be filled by family or older friends. Siblings, parents, trusted senpais. But 1-A— they’re stuck with Aizawa.
Midoriya presents as an alpha. Aizawa laments that no one in his problem class is capable of doing anything normally. Or, Aizawa accepts his role as the leader and pseudo-parent of a pack of teenage idiots.

Summary
It was a peaceful day. Sun was shining, world is finally awake after a long winter time. Everything seemed fine. Well, something was off, different. One lovely, green-haired woman gets into a tragic car accident. She dies way too young, orphaning a small boy. He gets saved by a very loud, very blond hero who, to put it simply, calls dibs on a kid. Cue 10 years more, and we have a lovely fam with 2 prohero, adoptive dads and one teenage ambitious green gremlin (TAGG in short - teenage mutant ninja style). After one unfortunate (and totally not the boy’s fault! Just so you know!) villain attack, Izuku seems different. Something happened, and we need to figure out how to fix it.

Izuku steps towards the other teen, holding his hand out to shake, “I’m Midoriya Izuku by the way. We haven’t officially met yet, right? I don’t remember seeing you at the Entrance Exam?”
The blue-haired boy pauses, studies his hand uncertainly before shrugging. “Shirakumo Oboro,” he introduces in return, hand phasing right through Izuku’s when he goes to return the handshake. Shirakumo doesn’t seem surprised by it, but Izuku whips his hand back when the intense chill climbs up his arm.

Izuku tries to pretend eveything is okay even though his homelife is crumbling around him, there's an insanely powerful Quirk that's not entirely his coursing through his veins, he suddenly knows his childhood hero, All Might, and to top it all off, he seems to have befriend a pastel blue-haired ghost that has way too much insider knowledge on Izuku's new homeroom teacher, and English teacher. He's really just trying to survive Yuuei...

Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.
