Summary
When X made it to the kitchen he stopped, looking around. There was absolutely no sound in the ship other than the hiss of air coming out of the vents. …where was everyone?
“Hello?” He called out. No response.
He slowly made his way to the control room. He didn’t see anyone on his way there, but quickly noticed the flashing of the boarding ramp’s indicator. …they’d stopped? All the way out here? What in the world were they boarding? He groaned softly and started for the ramp. It was extended when he got there, sealed to the open door of what looked to be another ship. He hurried back to the living room and gawked at what he saw in the window. There was a giant ship floating next to them. None of the lights were on. Had this… just been drifting here? And for how long? He returned to board the drifting ship, shuddering when he crossed the threshold. He swore it was already colder.
He turned on the flashlight on his wrist and began walking, looking around for the others. The hall split off in two ways ahead of him. He took the left path, sticking near the large windows. He could see the Hermits’ ship from here. He glanced through the lit windows but didn’t see his friends. They had to be here somewhere…

Grian's no-good terrible utterly bad job by JustAnotherMutantKid

Summary
The Redstone Institute is the leading scientific institute in the universe, despite its unusually small size. Grian, the head of the Redstone Institute Ethical Department (RIED), is also his department's only employee. His job is to ensure all researchers within the Institute don't accidentally commit atrocities while they work on their projects. The job would be a lot easier if he wasn't supervising the least ethical scientists in the universe. Some of them didn't seem to understand the concept of ethics, while others simply didn't care. Between Cub, Mumbo, Zedaph, and... honestly all of his coworkers, Grian is almost never having a good day at work.

Summary
Mumbo Jumbo is a normal technician at his city's only tech shop. . . until he isn't. He's thrown into a world of magic and fighting, and given a mission along with 4 weird coworkers. But things get more complicated when the reason why he was chosen comes into question. Can he find a way through this without either giving up, or being the reason the team fails?
Note: This was made for 2026's Hermitcraft Guess the Author (hence the present tense).

Summary
They were halfway through the information retrieval system when Wels began to get agitated. It started off normal — just occasional pangs of discomfort or fear that Wels was able to push away fairly easily. But the pangs of emotion continued to surge, making Wels’ hands tremble and his thoughts race, it got harder and harder to force the feelings away.
“Are you… feeling alright, Wels?” X eventually asked.
Wels’ face flushed.
“Y-Yeah. I’m fine.”
AKA - Wels' normal day is interrupted by some strange feelings, and things take a turn.

Summary
The wave of relief that washed over him when Hels’ home came into sight was probably the best thing he’d felt all week. He staggered up to the door, falling but managing to catch himself on a fence post. He knocked twice, and the door swung open a moment later. Hels stood on the other side, looking him over before scoffing.
“I see you maybe twice a month, and every time I think ‘surely he can’t get any worse,’ and then the next time I see you, you prove me wrong.” He stepped back from the door. “Come on in…”
He stepped inside, Hels locking the door behind him before guiding him to the sofa. Wels grumbled softly but leaned against his side. One of Hels’ wings wrapped around him.
“You can’t go on like this.” Hels said when they had settled.

Summary
Xisuma knew the danger hybrid hunters posed to his server. He almost forgot that they posed a threat to him as well.
Or, Xisuma gets kidnapped. He doesn’t have a good time.
Also, what will this mean for Hermitcraft, and both the hybrids and humans that call it home? We’ll see!
(Not rated because I’m bad at rating things and knowing what counts as “graphic” or not. It shouldn’t be too bad, but y’know)

Summary
Really, Xisuma had been doing so well at ignoring his past.
Until Joe somehow ends up in the deep End, cursed by the Void itself and X has to confront his fears and his past and everything else he'd rather not think about ever again to find a way to cure him.
It's fine, though, especially when it turns out that more of his hermits accidentally followed him and are now lost somewhere in the dimension without the necessary gear to breathe.
...Maybe it's not fine.Or: X and some hermits have a not good very bad time in the deep End.

Summary
"Security Audit: Phase One," Tim whispered, his eyes glued to the telescope.
Below, a goon in a purple suit—who looked like he’d been hired specifically for his ability to stand still and look confused—approached the "Secure" keypad at the main loading dock. He punched in a six-digit code.
Tim waited for the final digit, then tapped a copper wire against a capacitor. BEEEEEEP.
Or, 5 of Tim Drake’s various encounters with Rogues during his childhood, and 1 when he’s with his family
This work is the prequel to The Statistical Improbability of Belonging, but you do not need to read that work to understand this one.
