Its the year 2023, and Grace finally gets a much needed summer vacation at Eridian Lake House. It's beautiful, and relaxing, and he knows it will be such a lovely time. So he leaves a note for the next tenant about pawprints he found, and finds he may have a magic mailbox, because the person who responded say its actually 2021, and the Lake House is currently being painted as they speak.

”Do you like tea?” Ryland asked while looking out of the café window. the street was bustling with people on their way somewhere. ”I usually go for black coffee.” Simon mumbled while looking at the blonde haired man, studying his facial features. How could someone look this beautiful? Simon had swore to himself that he’d never fall in love ever again. But here he was, staring at the younger.
"yeesh! No flavoring and no sweetener?” Ryland stared at Simon, who just shaked his head. Wide eyed Ryland thought to himself, how could someone drink coffee that is purely made of just grounded coffee beans and water? Simon, who was still looking at blonde, noticed how shocked he'd actually gotten. He gave out a soft chuckle, making Ryland giggle, his ears turning a scarlet red. You see after Simon’s break up with his last boyfriend, he decided to give up on love completely. But now, this specific man might’ve just changed everything.

Ryland Grace, a terribly awkward guy who works at café meets a quiet — but weirdly kind florist who swore he’d never fall in love again. They somehow both work out like the two pieces in a puzzle.
