Hawks had been feeling off all week. Ever since he'd stopped taking the medication the Commission provided for him- because he didn't see any reason he should need it- and maybe that was why he didn't see the feathers heading right for him coming.
"Hawks, dude, what the hell?" Twice yelped, dodging a bright red feather trying to skewer him.
His tongue felt like lead, but Hawks managed to make himself answer, even as he stumbled to avoid one. "It- it's not mine!" But the ones going after him weren't trying to hurt him. They were trying to take him.The League is very offended someone stole their bird. Takami Shinra is very offended the Commission stole his chick seventeen years ago. A bird of prey doesn't forget, and it never stops trying.

He considers just walking back out to save himself the headache. If it wasn’t for the tiny fist latched onto the leg of his pants he probably would have.

Hawks gets hit by a de-ageing quirk while out on a mission for the League and it opens the eyes of the members as to who their small traitor really is when he isn't being paraded around on camera for the masses as Japan's lovable #2 hero or squeezing himself into dingy alleways for shady meet-ups with the country's criminal underbelly.
