For a stupid moment Magnus thought to just wait it out, maybe hold her hand while she died so that she wouldn’t be alone but then he remembered that they weren’t in Hotel Valhalla. She would not rise the next day perfectly well again with a new funny story about that one time she died to a minotaur.
No, they weren’t in Hotel Valhalla. If Alex died here then she dies for real.
