Is he getting a fever? God, he hopes not. This would be the worst possible time. “So,” John says again. “I know you’re married to your work and this isn’t your area. But. I was thinking, maybe you could re-evaluate that.”
“Re-evaluate,” Sherlock repeats, in a strangled sort of voice.
John tilts his head, licks his lips. “If you’re amenable.”
