In an idyllic timeline where Truth and Deceit are accepted as the natural order in some regard, its two most quintessential followers cannot seem to to stop meeting. But the recluse is always so distant, as if there is a curse he wishes to prevent by keeping sage at arms length…. Well, a couple nights spent together that culminate in a hike up to the peak of truth reveals just Why he is so afraid.

Until he finished Proud Immortal Demon Way. If he could reverse time to when the Witches first gave him a thick, thick handwritten book, he would’ve smacked it from their hands and cut off all possible contact! Proud Immortal Demon Way was- was- ughhh, it was Shit!
Shadow Milk Cookie still thought the same way: the bookworm trait baked into his first dough hadn’t escaped him, even with a new body and better personality. So when he woke up in said world after his fateful Final Battle (TM) with Pure Vanilla Cookie, it was no surprise at how enraged he was. Even in death, the Witches continued to mess with him!!!

Summary
Shadow Milk Cookie’s has a detachable head. How did Pure Vanilla Cookie know this? Well, one early morning when he opened his closet to get dressed, there was his head on top of his robes. He felt his heart plummet down to his feet and felt a cold tingle in his shoulders. He slowly raised his hand to cradle his cheek; to both confirm that it was Shadow Milk’s head and that he was not actually dreaming.
“Shadow Milk?” Pure Vanilla asked quietly, feeling his cold dough against his hand.
Shadow Milk’s eyes were closed, and just as Pure Vanilla brushed his closed lid with his thumb did Pure Vanilla hear a large thump from behind him.
Pure Vanilla yelped loudly as arms wrapped around his waist, and suddenly Shadow Milk’s eyes (the ones in his face and hair) snapped open. He grinned mischievously up at him and crackled with cruel delight.
“Oh Nilly!” He exclaimed. “The look on your face is priceless!”
