Summary
Nothing has every come easy for Kim Hongjoong. But he's fought and grafted and worked hard to get to where he is now. Summary
Kim Hongjoong is top of the rankings in one of Night City’s biggest street racing circles. Racing since he was a young teen with stolen vehicles, he quickly made a name for himself. He’s comfortable enough, no longer having to spend his life fighting for scraps on the streets like everyone in the city, but that doesn’t mean his life is without its grievances. Namely, one Park Seonghwa, who has been racing for as long as Hongjoong has.
Ask anyone, and they’ll say Kim and Park are two sides cut from the same cloth, equal in ambition and skill. But Hongjoong detests being compared to his rival. Unlike Hongjoong, Seonghwa seems to have had everything in his life handed to him on a silver platter.Or: the Street Racing AU set in Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City, with a mix of the Bouncy MV lore thrown in.

In the past two days Bard has smuggled the King under the Mountain into Lake-town, has found himself in the midst of a dragon attack, has then slain said attacking dragon, almost drowned, almost been proclaimed king and has just woken to an Elven army in their makeshift refugee camp.
Now he'd really like to get that simple life back, without stubborn Dwarves, attacking Orcs and the sudden need for diplomacy. He'd also really, really like for everybody to stop calling him Lord of Dale.
However, he wouldn't mind keeping the fabulous Elvenking around who's being so generous with his wine, opinions and turnips.
