It does, but not before Mark catches bits of a conversation in Jisung’s hushed tone. He hears the words broke up and asked me but Jisung must have a sixth sense for when Mark is near, because he looks over his shoulder from where he sits on his bed and then gets up, stretching his lips into something that might resemble a smile if it wasn’t so rigid. He shuts the door in Mark’s face like a moody fifteen-year-old and Mark just stands there, already feeling himself regressing, trying to calm the old, familiar hurricane that roils to life.
Home has two sides: when Jisung liked him and when he didn’t anymore.

He had stopped then, spreading his love off stage.
The members seemed to like it better anyway.
Donghyuck became reserved then, more secluded from himself. The shell of himself he carries makes him tolerable.
The members liked it. The surface of him was all they could handle to care for.
The distance between him and the rest grew. The members didn’t know it, but he did. He hadn’t felt like Donghyuck in many years. But he complied because they showed genuine care for him for a while.
Whatever made them like him more.

“Come on,” someone whined.
And then, he did it. Tugged up his sleeve. Right arm. Right forearm.
Sieun saw it before his brain caught up. Curved in the same way his mom used to trace it when she still liked Sieun enough to be affectionate. The same scar as Sieun’s.
Or the one where Suho suggests they go on dates for a week to find out if being soulmates is enough to make them work.

That seemed to wake Suho out of his trance. His back made a loud, echoing noise and by the expression he made, must have hurt, — he even looked surprised, which was rather offensive. Did he really think Sieun would be an immovable punching bag?
“What a rough one...” He teased, arching his eyebrows. Something about that made his stomach bubble uncomfortably. “You know, Sieun-ah... I don’t bottom.”
What? Sieun almost recoils again, confused by his choice of words. But Suho still has that weird gleam in the depths of his eyes and continues... Fuck, looking at him as if Sieun were his next meal.
Yeon Sieun receives a dirty invitation, but then thinks he's being bullied and coerced into a fight by Ahn Suho.

The first thing that caught his eye was the massive poster taped above his new roommate’s bed—an absurdly proportioned female video game character, all cleavage, oversized weaponry, rosy cheeks, and a gaze engineered for maximum male fantasy.
On the desk: two oversized monitors, a blinding RGB keyboard, and a PC tower that looked like it could launch a satellite. One screen displayed two anime girls demonstrating the miracle of modern jiggle physics on loop.
“Yo,” came a voice from the void.
A hand extended toward him—unfortunately attached to the half-naked body of his new roommate, who stood there with nothing but a towel slung around his waist. Foggy square glasses clung to his nose, his mouth stretched into a blinding grin.
“You wear your glasses in the shower?” Sieun asked stonily.

“Don’t go,” Suho whined, his voice softer than he intended, vulnerable and desperate.
Sieun shuddered, and for a moment, Suho could feel the tension in his body melt, just a little, before Sieun muttered, “You’re so fucking annoying.”
A laugh escaped Suho, weak and shaky, the sound blending with the rain falling harder around them. “I miss you,” his voice barely rose above a whisper, but the words hit like a blow.
Sieun sighed. “We see each other all the time,” he said, though there was an edge of something else in his voice.
“Not like before. You see Baku and Juntae more than me.” Suho pointed out, jaw clenched, his chest tightening with something sharp, something that felt a lot like jealousy.
“He’s also our friend,” Sieun added, almost defensively, but it didn’t stop Suho from whining.
“But I miss you, Sieun-ah…”
Or the three times Suho gets jealous and can't keep it quiet to Sieun.
