The first thing Paige was aware of was the throbbing pain in her head. The one that felt like someone was playing a drum inside her skull. The second thing she was aware of was the hard slab of concrete beneath her body, the same one that was sending a chill through her entire being. The third thing was that she must have fallen asleep.
