Summary
*Set post-canon, so SPOILERS*
Ever since Jax's abstraction, Pomni has been trying her hardest to continue her life in the circus, surrounded by her friends. She still tries to sneak away to be by his side any chances she gets, whether he is back in the aquarium or under the tent the gang made for him and their other friends.
She's trying to live for herself, but also a bit for him. Him abstracting made her realize how much she loved him. She showed her ever growing love through small actions : learning the piano, sharing a meal with him, talking about their new adventures and even sleeping under the tent.
Her new routine goes on, until one day, Kinger and Caine seem to have found a way to bring back the abstractions to normal. Will Jax want to come back? Would he... Want to stay with Pomni?

Summary
Jax’s life before the circus, rife with abuse from his mother, left him scarred and hurting, his weapon words. His denial of his feelings ran so deep, he didn’t recognize himself in the mirror anymore. When Kinger reveals the truth of the circus, he can’t deny the ways he’s hurt everyone around him and, at his lowest point, forges a new way forward, learning to accept himself along the way.
Healing is an arduous task but so is staying stuck in his cycle but Jax, for once, wants to live and live fully. It's the story of a childless father and fatherless child learning to live again. To be okay.

“Stay with me.”
Jax hyperventilated violently in her arms, chest heaving, tears pouring down his face. He was losing himself entirely and all Pomni could do was cling stubbornly to him as if he would disappear if she didn’t, like the apparition of a lost loved one she couldn’t bear to let go. For Jax, she was the only lifeline offered to him while he drowned in a hungry, ravaging ocean. He wrapped around her desperately and came undone around her and all she could do was try her hardest to hold him together. Their hearts beat in unison.
(TLDR: Pomni saves Jax from abstracting and to everyone’s surprise, he apologizes. Afterwards, Jax has to accept the fact that he must make amends, and more than just his personality and behavior must change as a result)
