Summary
Draco devises a plan to get back into society’s good graces after the war: he simply needs to secure an optically favorable marriage and a halfblood heir.

Summary
He saw her again, for the first time since the war, in the bowels of the Ministry, a horrid place to be in general, and even worse when the breath was knocked out of you.

Her eyes, tight. Her lips, tight. Her hands, which clutched a sheaf of parchment, tight. Her demeanour, which was utterly controlled.
Tight.
He wanted to break it. It lit him up, from the base of his spine to his brainstem, this desire.

Oh, she was so wrong. And Pansy was right.
Again.
It was the small things at first, Draco chipping at her sensibilities little by little.
It started just how it was with him, when he was making her mind and body melt with his aggressive and relentless attention to her body.
Just as Pansy said, Draco loved playing the long game. And boy did he thrive in that department. -
