Summary
Life in the Administration had never changed from what he could remember, with only an apathy for the place, that clashed with a sense of guilt for not feeling grateful enough for a place that chose to welcome him when he had nothing, not even his memories. Any secret hobbies or friendships within, however, didn't seem to satisfy his boredom, until one day when, in Mysterium, after being bothered by a strange floating light, he made the most adrenaline-fueled decision of his life.
Running away had healed something in Jay, but he had no idea that finding a strange tiger before his eyes, with completely unfounded promises, would do the unthinkable for the amnesiac's mind later on.
Or; Narrating, or sometimes lightly retelling for some points on Jay's arc—temporarily not yet concluded—that has unfolded, and is still unfolding during Dragon Rising, with the intent of better analyzing or filling in the spaces that they haven't given us momentarily yet or that we will never see in the show about Jay.

Summary
Cliff Gordon's ego had always been higher than his head. He loved his wife, but the being inside her womb had created a conflict in his mind. He would learn to love his newborn, though perhaps it would be too late when he realized his mistakes as a parent.
Despite this, his love for his son would later become an obsession when he discovered the person Jay had become through the screens.
•4 times the actor was able to look at his son + 1 time Jay was able to look at his biological father.

"If you slow me down-"
She rolled her eyes and gave him a dismissive wave of her hand. "Pff," she snorted, offended. "You better try to keep up with me, old man."
The girl started walking, glancing back every now and then, not loosening her grip on her weapon for a second. Jay snorted softly behind his mask at her arrogance; walking ahead of a stranger right after a fight. That brat hadn't had the misfortune of losing a battle so far, he'd bet on it. How old was she, a teenager?
"Anyway, she's ridiculously young to be doing this", he couldn't help thinking, not that he cared, not that Jay knew exactly what young people were supposed to be doing at that age, except that he had a strong suspicion that it probably had nothing to do with being mercenaries or bounty hunters.
He tried and failed to suppress the part of him that realized that.
OR: A very tired Jay after the tournament finds this girl he can't easily get rid of.

Jay didn’t want to say anything. Not because he was mad, but because he was confused.
“That we won’t do that thing where we make up in the middle of the fight and waste loads of time.”
That’s when Jay replied with, “I wouldn’t consider the moment we became best friends a ‘waste of time’ but ok, sure.”
