Grace had an aversion to swearing that Rocky couldn’t understand - which was frustrating since obviously Rocky had wanted to learn every Eridian curse word under the sun after they’d learned to communicate. It was an overall stupid and inconsequential thing, but he was just itching to hear him let loose a squeaky, frustrated fuck.
Rocky added that to his ever growing mental list of things he wanted to do with him: get Gracie off so good he finally said fuck.
Rocky was confident in his abilities to make it happen.
He’d be the best damn lay Grace ever had, actually. Alien species, be damned. Rocky was nothing if not adaptable and teachable; he aimed to please. He’d do whatever necessary to aid his best friend in succumbing to absolute bliss. It was a little ridiculous how fast that had become his new life’s mission.

For a second the whole world went white around the edges and March thought he might pass out. He was too sober for this conversation. What exactly had Healy noticed that morning, how obvious exactly had his full-body reaction to Healy’s hand on his neck been? “I was a happily married man!” March said, and as soon as it came out of his mouth he knew it was wrong. Too fast, too high-pitched, too loud.

When Rocky and I started teaching them English, them and I started joking back and forth a bit. Their humour is dry (like a lot of Eridians, I have found) but they always know how to make me laugh. To put it shortly, I am…attracted to Adrian. This realisation came shortly after I realised a looming crush on Rocky. How embarrassing. Nothing about us is compatible.
