Summary
After the occupation of Bajor ends, former Gul Prail Khar maroons himself on a deserted L-class planet so that no one learns the truth about his assistance to the Bajoran underground. After two years, desperate and running out of resources, Khar sends out a distress signal that's intercepted by the runabout Ganges, piloted by Jadzia Dax and Julian Bashir, and requests amnesty aboard the station. Can he run from his past forever, or will the consequences of what he's done finally catch up to him?

Zanthi fever wasn’t supposed to be Dukat’s problem.
Unfortunately, neither was flirting with Kira, pinning Quark to a bar, serenading Odo, or kissing Dr. Bashir like it was the most natural thing in the quadrant.
Now the station has a problem.
Specifically: one lovesick Cardassian with dangerously persuasive pheromones, a doctor trying to maintain professional boundaries, and Garak—who is having entirely too much fun with the situation.
Containing Dukat should be simple.
…In theory.

Dans une situation politique floue et changeante, la Fédération finalise la construction d'une station spatiale médicale dirigée par Starfleet. À sa tête, la docteure et capitaine fraîchement promue Corine Fargis, tout juste décorée après avoir sauvé plusieurs scientifiques menacés par les exactions de son ancien équipage. De par ses attitudes de médecin de campagne et sa naïveté quasi-infantile, la petite valaisanne va tout de suite dénoter du profil attendu. Pourtant, ce caractère atypique lui permettra d'obtenir des résultats inéspérés en termes de commandement, de diplomatie et de médecine. Maintenue dans sa perspective singulière par un équipage qui finit par devenir son protecteur, elle n'a aucune conscience, ni des enjeux de pouvoir ni de la noirceur qui l'entoure. Peu à peu, elle touche son entourage ou provoque le rejet. Entre difficultés diplomatiques, prouesses médicales et actes de spontanéité déconcertante, elle devient elle-même un enjeu moral : L'innocence a-t-elle sa place dans les protocoles de la fédération et les luttes de la Galaxie?Series
