Summary
After a hunt goes catastrophically wrong, Dean breaks in Castiel’s arms with a dead girl’s blood still on his hands and no way to pretend he’s fine. Cas gets him out, gets him cleaned up, gets him back to a motel room where the night should have ended with sleep, silence, and the usual lies.
It doesn’t.
What starts as shock, care, and the dangerous relief of being held turns into the conversation they have spent years not having: about want, restraint, old fear, love, and all the ways they have already belonged to each other without saying it aloud. For one night only, with morning and the real world waiting outside, Dean and Cas let themselves stop running from the truth.
A Destiel story about grief, trauma, repression, mutual want, one impossible night of honesty, and what it means to let yourself have the thing that could destroy you — even if it’s only just once.

Summary
A hunt gone wrong leaves Dean with anger, adrenaline, and a new, deeply unhelpful awareness of exactly how terrifying Castiel can be up close. What starts as one hunting mistake turns into something private, escalating, and impossible to name cleanly: force, retaliation, challenge, and the kind of charged violence that feels less like losing control than building a language neither of them can admit to speaking.
Back at the bunker, on hunts, in motel rooms, and in the spaces between ordinary days, Dean and Cas keep pushing at each other. Bruises become signals. Fights become foreplay. Cas understands what is happening faster than Dean does, and Dean cannot decide if that should make him feel safer or more doomed. All the while Sam notices just enough to be a problem, but never enough to understand the real thing taking shape under his nose.
As the tension between them sharpens from roughness into hunger, Dean is forced to face what this really is: not just sex, not just violence, but recognition, possession, and the slow, brutal collapse of every lie he has been telling himself about what he wants.

Summary
The case hadn't been too difficult, a handful of websites and a couple hours thumbing through dusty books had lead to the conclusion of it being a succubus. A rare, life-force guzzling, demonic creature. According to European folklore; they shoot victims up with their… 'love-drug', plague their dreams, drive them mad with desire, and then swoop in to claim their prey at their most desperate and vulnerable.
They'd caught her last night. Research hadn't helped them much when it came to finding her actual weaknesses, but they figured an angel would most likely trump a sex demon, and Cas, of course, made quick work of her. All threat eliminated in a flash of light, as usual. It was much easier than the days when Sam and Dean would have to get up close and personal with every ugly creature.
Except, Dean had been the bait.—
Dean is poisoned by a Succubus. Cas lends him a hand.
