Summary

Summary
After the wild ride that was the summer holiday, Akira was elated to be spending his third year of high school in Tokyo after being taken in by the Sakuras for good. Katsuki breathes once. Twice. He will complete this mission. “Let me intern with you.”
Hawks snorts but doesn’t look up from his phone as it keeps going off. “Pass.”
After failing his licensing exam, Bakugou decides he needs a mentor. He sets about making it Hawks' problem.
Hawks wants nothing to do with Bakugou. Who in their right mind wants that kind of commitment? He’s too busy with the League, anyway.

"Oh?" Dabi taunts in that flashfire voice of his; and Hawks is reminded, yet again, how easily he burns. "Tell me, what poor little bastard's gonna be riding your ugly-ass coattails for the next few months?"
Hawks frowns, realizing he's just set up a question he actually has to answer. Dabi will find out anyway, won't he? If there's one thing Hawks has learned, it's that Dabi has his ways. Hawks can never hide anything from him, no matter how hard he tries, a fact that will someday spell his undoing –– but there's no way around it now.
Willing his fight-or-flight instinct into silence, Hawks reminds his sharpened feathers he's not here for either. It'll be fine. The worst part of removing a bandaid is the dread before you rip it off. Right?
So Hawks braces himself, and answers:
"Todoroki Shouto."

"All right, hero," Dabi said, dryly, as he gave him a flat stare. "You gonna do something about this or not?"
Keigo's tongue felt like it had turned to lead. "Um, uh, what?" he laughed, trying to shrug it off, but Dabi wasn't stupid.
"This little flirting game we've been playing. Or do you want me to chase you?"
Keigo choked on his own spit.The thing was, he (somehow) liked Dabi. And he'd stupidly been flirting with a villain for weeks now, and it was probably stupid to assume nothing would happen. Except he'd never dated anyone, let alone held someone's hand, or even had a crush. The Commission taught him ways to act, not how to deal with personal feelings. He is naturally terrible at expressing his personal feelings.

Hawks had been feeling off all week. Ever since he'd stopped taking the medication the Commission provided for him- because he didn't see any reason he should need it- and maybe that was why he didn't see the feathers heading right for him coming.
"Hawks, dude, what the hell?" Twice yelped, dodging a bright red feather trying to skewer him.
His tongue felt like lead, but Hawks managed to make himself answer, even as he stumbled to avoid one. "It- it's not mine!" But the ones going after him weren't trying to hurt him. They were trying to take him.The League is very offended someone stole their bird. Takami Shinra is very offended the Commission stole his chick seventeen years ago. A bird of prey doesn't forget, and it never stops trying.
