Cloud just wants to find Aerith, get answers, and maybe not deal with this soulmate nonsense
Genesis Rhapsodos, meanwhile, has waited years for their final soulmate to appear. only for him to be a battle-worn blond who doesn’t even believe in soulmates
Unacceptable. But Genesis is nothing if not determined. If Cloud thinks he can outrun fate, he’s got another thing coming

Maybe together he could change and help more than just the three if given the chance. If he could get past the Turks, Shinra, and Soldiers wanting to know why there were three children running around that looked like mini versions of the General Sephiroth and their keeper a blond man who just might be stronger.

Summary

Just before Sephiroth delivers the final blow, Cloud is saved. He's sent through the Lifestream, through time itself, and finds himself in the middle of the Wutai War. Someone like him—a SOLDIER in all but name—is unwelcome there, and Cloud is forced to take refuge within Shinra's forces, led by none other than the young General Sephiroth.
The two are immediately at odds, with suspicions running high and their prejudices threatening to tear everything apart. They learn soon enough that not everything is as it seems, and that working together might be the only way to achieve their goals.

Cloud wants none of that and escapes. Cloud believes he is defective since he is scentless, no heats, and no way to produce a child. Only has the animal ears and tail that match his hair color.
But, there are a few things the town and Cloud don't know. Like how male omegas aren't like female ones at all.
