    Summary

When Khaslana stood against the Trailblazer, he expected to never wake up. He shouldn't have. Waking up afterwards in his bedroom and being told that he's in Era Nova is not what was prophesized, thus he doesn't know how to push through this.
What he does know how to do, however, is fight. As much as the other Chrysos Heirs want him to rest and heal, he can't stand by as what remains of the Dawn Device is corrupted by the Black Tide and their new sky is plunged into eternal night.

    OR

Khaslana rediscovering (with the help of a very protective crew of Chrysos Heirs) that there doesn't have to be a divide between who he is as Khaslana, and who he is as Phainon.

    Summary

“You let that man touch you,” Mydei hisses. “Let him wrap his arms around you.”

“I didn’t let him,” Phainon pouts. “He’s one of your own, isn’t he? Shouldn’t he know better?”

He’s playing a dangerous game, walking a fine line, but the excitement in his chest grows palpable. Mydei is a man that subsists off control. A powerful warrior and general, he commands the Kremnoans with an iron fist, and his very presence brings with it respect and reverence. To insinuate his lack of control is the greatest insult, and Phainon has just placed himself, defenseless, in the lion’s den.

In which Mydei reminds Phainon exactly who he belongs to, and Phainon enjoys every second of it.

    Summary

The tears came quietly at first—a slow build, a blink too long, a hitch in breath. Then, one slipped free. A tear trailing toward his temple as his lip trembled.

Mydei kissed it as it fell.

Phainon turned his face away, a sharp breath catching in his throat—not from pain, but shame. “Don’t…”

But Mydei only kissed his cheek again, slower this time, lips dragging along damp skin like he wanted to drink the sadness from him. His hand slid behind Phainon’s head, fingers tangling gently in his hair, anchoring him.

“Don’t look away from me,” he whispered, voice heavy with restraint. “Not now.”

Phainon couldn’t speak. His body arched, breath stuttering, but Mydei’s hold never faltered. He kissed each new tear as it slipped free, murmuring nothing but breath between them. And all the while, his other hand drifted lower, stroking bare skin with the kind of control that felt dangerous in its tenderness.

It wasn’t the roughness of it that undid Phainon—it was the opposite. The unrelenting gentleness. Mydei touched him like he was made of memory and porcelain and fire all at once, like every part of him needed to be known, adored, worshipped.

    [ Myphai Modern AU ]

Mydei moves like a storm that has already passed: tidy, composed, unreadable.

Phainon, meanwhile, simmers in the wreckage he left behind, trying to pretend he wasn't trembling from both pain and something worse: yearning.

    Summary

“So yeah. Apparently, too many of them think I’m the bottom, so they all lost.”

    A pause stretches between them.

“I see. This would never have happened had I been the one fucking you as I pleased, all along.” Mydei suddenly speaks and Phainon’s jaw nearly drops at the stellar display of wisdom.

“That’s possibly the most insane conjecture I have ever witnessed, Mydeimos.”

Is it?” Mydei tilts his head, his gaze locked with his; his hands shift and Phainon starts as the silk is suddenly hiked up – “Had it been that way, the bet wouldn’t have been lost…” and steeled fingers slide beneath to glide over bare skin, “and you wouldn’t be walking around in this state – for everyone to see.”

Caelus losing a bet and making it Phainon's problem was one thing.

All of that having the domino effect of Mydei fucking him in the ass for hours was another.
