    Shockwave doesn't dispel all the dark magic from his hand before he touches Blurr, and Blurr's armor reacts like anything else in the fairy land that Shockwave is trying to drag him out of.

    In Spellbound canon, this is because Mirage was pulling some bullshit. Here? Here, I wanted to play with the idea that Shockwave took those few panels to decide that even if Blurr was some sort of fairy puppet, Shockwave would still love him and keep him. And what if he was some sort of fae construct? Would you still love me if I was a worm someone else's discarded plaything?
