Henry was recovering.
Physically that is. His broken bones, cuts, bruises, and cattle prod scars were all healing. Started healing when he got released from hospital a few weeks ago. If you looked at him now you wouldn’t be able to tell anything had happened to the blonde haired man. His skin was starting to return to his normal colour, weight was starting to come back around his arms, thighs, stomach and legs, the bruises that scattered his body were slowing fading, his shoulder was still slightly swollen but considering how long it have been dislocated for, everyone was happy with the healing - doctors included.-
The only thing that wasn’t going to plan in the recovery, was Henry’s mental and emotional state. Alex was warned that the physical scars will heal but the emotional and mental ones may not. There’s only so many nights Alex can bear watching the love of his life break down in his sleep stuck in an endless loop of memories from the kidnapping.
