Somewhat resentful of the task although others find it funny, Jim collects his share of mockeries, rants, threats of suspension and unwanted propositions. Angry and exhausted, he has just one officer left to visit, and it's the one he's been secretly fantasizing about since the beginning of the term - Spock. But what will the logical Vulcan say to this Halloween nonsense? Will he pick the treat? Or the trick?... (Spoiler: well, you know...)

Jim and Spock hadn´t meant to keep it a secret.
They had had their wedding a year prior to the first five-year mission and when Jim had gotten the news that he would be the new captain of the Enterprise he had listed Spock as his spouse to make sure they would be on it together.
So, when they had entered the board of the USS Enterprise it hadn´t occurred to them that people might not know.(In which Spock and Jim casually forget to mention that they are married, and the Enterprise crew is too oblivious to notice on their own)
