The party all survive the final battle and set off to start another journey together- college. They are all dealing with the aftermath of Vecna and the Upside Down, and are just trying to find their places in the world, all while experiencing the full spectrum of emotion college has to offer.

Mike has been having his own problems with depression and anxiety, made worse by Will's previous absence from his life. Lucas and Max are thriving and trying to hold the party together with the power of love! El is finding her own path in life alongside her friends and has discovered her passion. Dustin and Steve are healing in their own unique ways, finding time to visit their friends as often as they can. El longs for new romantic possibilities and finds them, wink wink. Nancy and Jonathan are following their journalism dreams together in the same state as Robin (who is still with Vickie!), all four of them do their best to mentor the party when needed. And Joyce and Hopper are married and happy in Montauk. There, the scene is set. Enjoy!
