Through scraped knees, broken dreams, and every awkward middle school haircut, they’d been constants in each other’s lives. Even when Midoriya had no quirk and the world expected them to drift apart, Bakugou stayed. Not everyone understood their bond, but it didn’t matter. They weren’t exactly trying to be understood.

Alternative Universe were Bakugou didn't bully Midoriya and their friendship making them one, but they don't see what this behavior intel's for others.

"So how am I like as a hero?" Izuku asked.
Katsuki stared at the sky, the sun briefly blinding his vision. He averted his gaze to stare at the ground, just to avoid Izuku's eyes. "You're fucking amazing. You're so devoted to perfecting your quirk, and not only that, your heroism is remarkable. You left a mark on the world in such a short period of time. Everything you've done has been ideal. I always struggle to catch up to you and your amazing abilities."
Izuku was silent for a few heartbeats.
"There's no hero as incredible as you."
Or, the boy in question was hit by a quirk that made him go back in time when he was an asshole in middle school. This time, he has a chance to do everything right-- and to finally give himself closure from his raging emotions.
The same also occurs to the middle schooler Katsuki, who gets a chance to go the future and see how different his life is, especially with things involving Izuku.
